Fuguku illuminated the Jakarta International Convention Center with its bold and resilient designs at Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) 2025, held from May 28 to June 1 under the vibrant theme “Ronakultura Jakarta” – a celebration of Jakarta’s fusion of tradition and modernity. Featuring over 200 designers, the event showcased Fuguku’s unique artistry, blending cultural heritage with innovative craftsmanship

Fuguku’s runway presentation captivated audiences with its fugu-inspired elegance. Models showcased statement pieces: spiky jewelry boxes revealing heirloom rings, dahlia-hued clutches radiating strength, and leather-bound watches embodying endurance. Each design, rooted in over 160 years of repair heritage, reflected the brand’s dedication to timeless, adaptable treasures.

Runway Highlights: Fugu-Inspired Elegance

As part of the Indonesia Fashion Forward (IFF) initiative with London’s Centre for Fashion Enterprise, Fuguku joined talents like Baha Gia and Nadjani, elevating modest and ready-to-wear fashion globally. “Fuguku turns gifting into an art of resilience,” noted a fashion enthusiast, echoing the collection’s emotional depth.

Celebrating Jakarta’s Creative Spirit

Organized by the Indonesian Fashion Entrepreneurs and Designers Association (APPMI), IFW 2025 blended runway shows with talks and exhibitions, boosting Jakarta’s creative economy. Fuguku’s designs, from couple’s heirlooms to pet accessories, embodied the theme’s vibrant adaptability.
